Inside a cozy Panamanian country home, a curious ñeque (the agouti, a little rodent of the Panamanian forest) stops by a big jar of fruit preserves. A hammock sways by the open door, a heliconia glows in the garden outside, and a woven rug lies on the floor. It’s painted in warm pinks, magentas and golds, with the word Panamá in elegant script across a gold band.

It feels like an afternoon at grandma’s house in the tropics. This mug is a gift for animal lovers, for anyone who grew up with Panamanian sweets, and for anyone who misses the warmth of home. The colorful rim, handle and inside make every cup of coffee or tea feel like a small celebration.
